Please allow us to introduce Bronwyn! She is the cutest 8 ( or 12?) week old puppy rescued after being abandoned in NC with mom and sisters. The rescuer kept mom and the sisters went to different rescues.
We know momma was a pittie and daddy was a drifter. She will be up for adoption soon. You can find an application at pitroadrescue.org.

Limerick is once again available for adoption. He was adopted back in October of 2018 and came back into the rescue in the last month.

Unfortunately Limerick started having some issues with the 3-year-old in the house, and his adopter (as well as Pit Road) decided it would be best for the family and Limerick to be taken out of the situation. This was not a light-hearted decision for the family, but everyone wanted to do what was best for them and best for Limerick.

Per his previous adopter, Limmy was amazing in the home. He is 100% house-trained and was never crated. He was never destructive in the house. He does well with cats and other dogs, too.

Limerick would do well in a house with or without other pets, though he does enjoy the company of other dogs! He has lived in both apartment settings where he was leash walked several times a day and has also lived in a setting with a fenced in backyard. He would thrive in either. He IS crate trained but much prefers being left loose. Like I said, he never has accidents and is never destructive.

At this point, his only downfall is that he needs to he placed in a home without young children. Older children in the household should be fine. The hustle and bustle of young kids was just too much for him.

Limmy is roughly 3-years-old, good with dogs and cats, house trained, non destructive, HW negative, and up to date on vaccines and prevention. We have him listed as a Pointer Mix... and he's about 45 to 50 pounds. If you are interested in being Limmy's forever family, please shoot us a PM, and we can get started on the adoption process! <3

Ok friends, we are kind of in a pickle.
Our unicorn dog Ghost recently found himself in need of emergency vet care. It started with a cough and within hours he was having difficulty breathing. The amazing vets at Animal Emergency Center did tests and x-rays and kept him overnight in oxygen.
This was a very expensive episode and we need help paying his bill of $713.14.
If you can help, payments can be called in to Animal Emergency Center at 757-234-0461. If you prefer our PayPal is pitroad83@gmail.com. Please use friends and family so no fees are taken out. Thank you โ™ฅ๏ธ
